When you write about depression and suicide, do you think that could trigger someone I follow who has depression? Or is it comforting/relatable? I don't know from personal experience and I'm occasionally unsure if it's a good idea to reblog these

I think that the depression and suicide poems that end well, with the person getting help, could be comforting and relatable. However, if they do not end well (but most of my poems on those subjects do end up well), then that could be triggering.

So maybe you could reblog the ones where the person gets help and overcomes their depression/suicidal tendencies, but not the ones that end badly, if there are any I’ve written that end badly that you wanted to reblog. You could also tag the pieces you reblog from me with trigger warnings.

I hope that helped!

From an anon:

To the curious anon, as someone with depression, your poems are actually really comforting and relatable and they’re nice to read because it feels like someone understands, and they’re normally not triggering unless I’m feeling triggered- but that’s not something you can change, so I would go ahead but tag them if you know that your follower blocks triggering things.
