I just wanted to say I love your writings. They're beautiful. I'm disabled, & I've been trying to write a poem about what it's like being surrounded by healthy, able-bodied people & how alone that can feel. Every time I want to give up, I read your poems, & they just inspire me to keep on trying & not give up on this. I know I can write poems, I've written others,but it seems like this one,so dear to my heart,trips me up. Your poem about Alzheimer's, I read every day because my memory is tenuous

Thank you. :) Don’t give up; just keep writing and keep pushing and break through that wall. You can break that wall down and it will crumble like dust in your hands.

The poems you struggle the most to finish are the ones that you will always remember. So keep going, and in my mind I’ll be cheering you on to the finish line.
