i've always been very intrigued by the way you write about love and you people you love (as in, in a romantic way). i love reading about that kind of stuff because it makes me have hope, but sometimes writings hold so much sadness and it makes me wonder if i ever find someone. i was wondering if you believe the whole 'there's someone out there for everyone'?

I do believe that there is someone out there for everyone.

You know, there are all these invisible threads connecting human beings and animals to one another. There are threads connecting dogs and their owners, or cats and other cats, or brothers and sisters, and there are threads connecting strangers. It’s like the whole world is filled with all these tangled pieces of yarn that are forever getting mixed up and entwined, and you know what? Sometimes you get on a bus and the piece of thread connected to you gets tangled up in the piece of thread connected to a complete and utter stranger sitting across from you.

And from that moment on, you’re irrevocably attached.

There are millions, billions of threads out there. I want you to know that. Just because your thread hasn’t gotten tangled in someone else’s doesn’t mean it never will.

It all just depends on the timing and the situation. That’s all.

It’s going to happen for you one day. I promise.
