Romanticizing the beauty in ordinary life would mean that I was describing it in an unrealistic manner; I would be making it idealistic or romantic instead of just ordinary.

Whereas finding the beauty in ordinary life would be just that: finding it and appreciating it, and accepting that it’s ordinary, instead of romanticizing it to make that ordinary-ness seem more beautiful or romantic than it really is.

For example, finding the beauty in something ordinary would be like describing a yellow dress blowing in the wind.

Romanticizing that yellow dress would be like saying that every single thread glistened like gold, its thread was woven from the purest fibers, it billowed back and forth in the breeze like a flag, etc.

I just try to describe ordinary beauty for what it is, not what it could be.
