To my wonderful followers:

I want you to check out this website and project created by Grace Brown, called Project Unbreakable. Grace Brown works with survivors of sexual assault and rape, and photographs survivors holding posters that contain short phrases or bits of dialogue that their attackers and rapists said to them before, during, or after the act.

The photographs and words are extremely heart-breaking and thought-provoking. They are intensely sad and personal, and they are extremely angering.

But they are also ultimately a chance for healing, because they bring this culture of slut-shaming and victim blaming into the light and they show you how strong, how beautiful, these survivors are, and how weak, cowardly, sadistic, and broken their attackers are.

Both male and female survivors are showcased on this site.

Both male and female attackers and rapists’ words are used.

Sexual assault and rape can happen to anyone, not just women.

Friends, this is extremely important.

Take a look.

All of you, including me, have the responsibility to not remain silent on this topic.
