this may come out wrong, for which i apologise, but i just read 'dear mom' and it reminded me all over again why i follow you and why so many people, including me, love your writing. every now and then, you write a few less striking poems and i wonder if you've fallen into a creative rut, but then you suddenly break out pieces that are so wonderful that i find tears floating down my cheeks and i can't recall when they started. you're brilliant, lots of love.

How on earth could I be offended by any of this? I know as well as anybody else that I get stuck in writing ruts and have plenty of awful poems! Thank you so much for the kind comments; I appreciate it. c:
