My heart is in my throat after reading your poem. Having had that experience happen to me and to become silenced because of the very way you detailed it, means a lot that you think these things. I've always read and admired your work.. tonight I feel and cling to the reason why. Thank You, you are a beautiful being.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I am so frustrated that certain people cannot accept the fact that rape affects all genders and all cultures, and it is so unfortunate that you were silenced because of the reluctance to accept that fact.
