It's so stupid how people are upset at you for promoting yourself. Why else do they follow you other than read your work. You've tried for this and you're young and you've accomplished it! They should be proud of you and sharing the news of your book around! Personally, I'm so very happy for you and your work is amazing. Don't stop promoting yourself because you've earned it!
