do you ever try to challenge yourself by sticking to more rigid poetic styles? i have to write a sonnet for English class and although i've written free verse before i don't really know where to start with the iambic pentameter and such.

I have written a few sonnets in the past, but they were all for English class. In general, I just really dislike iambic pentameter and writing sonnets and such myself, although of course I don’t have anything against the sonnets anyone else writes. I just hate writing them myself. I like to stick to free verse. :)
