I'm a student nurse and a follower. I save some of your poems in my ipod for future reference. I am currently taking care of a 17-year-old female patient who tried to kill herself by cutting her wrists. Part of our duties as nurses is to provide health care teachings and counseling to our patients. I am counseling her now and I let her read some of your poems. Your poems are helping her a lot. She said she'll create a tumblr acct. I just want to let you know. You are such a blessing. Thank you

You have no idea how happy I am to hear that my poems are helping your patient. That’s absolutely wonderful and a great blessing. I hope she continues to be comforted by the poems and that counseling eases her down the path toward healing/recovery. Poetry really does heal- so thank you for proving that to her and for taking such good care of her.
