Hey Darlings,
WAY Press is going to start doing weekly updates here on this page, letting you know what’s going on here, what’s coming up, and as an excuse to talk to y’all and here your feedback.
Right now, we’re in the midst of moving our shipping headquarters 2 ½ hours down the highway from my living room in Portland to Eugene, Oregon. As a result of adjusting to a new system and schedule, orders are being processed a lot slower, we haven’t been able to get your books to you as quickly as we’ve promised, and I’m sorry about that. Please know we are working as fast as we can to catch up, and we will be back to our usual speedy service within the next two weeks.
That being said, there are a few personal touches that make filling orders take a lot more time. Every order is gift wrapped, includes a thank you note on the wrapping, and is sent in a hand-addressed, stamped envelope. I started doing all those things when WAY first started a little over a year ago, when I was only seling As Often As Miracles and had fewer orders and more time.
I want to ask you all, the ones who receive and read the books, what do you think? Do you like the personal touches? Do you notice them, or would you prefer a no-nonsense packaging like from other, larger publishers?
Please respond and let us know!
All My Gratitude,
Clementine?
