“It poured cats and dogs today early in the morning when I was walking to school and somebody left a green umbrella on the doorknob of my house but I didn’t use it because I wanted the raindrops to hit me harder than I knew they would because I realised as I was looking out of the window early in the morning (it was a half past six; still dark) that I haven’t been bruised, physically, for so long a time and since nobody around seems to offer his body I thought I’d let the rain do all the loving that nobody else would do. But I can’t kiss the raindrops. They fall too fast. What I can do is swallow them. I can swallow them and feel them melt my insides like no man wants to melt my heart.”
