how often do you actually wite? like, i've noticed in a lot of people's writing tips or whatever they say you should always carry a notebook or a journal and to just document special things to learn , but who actually does that? i nean, i'd love to, but i barely have time for myself; i don't think it's socially acceptable to randomly pull out a notebook and start writing, or is that just me? i usually write at like 9 pm on my laptop but it's much less real and raw that way...

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with pulling out a notebook and writing in it to document something special, but I document special moments inside my head instead of carrying a notebook with me everywhere.

I write every single day, several times a day. I agree, it can be hard to find time to write on paper, and I do a lot of my writing on a laptop some days too. Yes, it may feel less raw and real on a laptop, but the truth is that quality work can still be produced. :)
