I've had obsessive, terrifying thoughts for years that I tried to manage on my own. I was afraid to tell anyone about them because they didn't seem like "normal" OCD. After reading the responses people had to your OCD poem, I finally talked to a therapist about it. She diagnosed me with OCD and I'm finally getting treatment. Thank you so much for your poem and posting people's comments about it. It actually changed my life.
