Hi, I was wondering if you have any pieces on war (or that mention it, really)? Or perhaps maybe you know of some good war poems. I'm only asking because tomorrow is the one year anniversary of my brother's death in Afghanistan and I feel very numb right now - and when I start feeling like this I try to seek solace in beautiful words because it eases the ache a little more. xx

Sharon Olds has a section of poems about war in her poetry book One Secret Thing. The section is simply titled “War.”

As far as any poems I have about war-I have one called “Crisis Management.” It’s probably not exactly what you’re looking for, but I’ll post the link anyway.
